SOCIAL STUDIES: SHARE OUR WORLD
The third grade will increase children’s understanding about community life in a variety of contexts. Throughout each unit, third grade students will compare aspects of their own community life (characteristics and history of Wethersfield) with those of other communities around the world. Students will explore history, geography, economics, culture, and government through reading, writing, mathematics, technology and the sciences.
